Service Description

Take the first step towards having a well-behaved furry friend by zooming with Great Dog's certified instructors. Our intake appointment is designed to help us get to know your dog and understand their training needs. We'll work with you to create a personalized training plan that fits your lifestyle and your dog's unique personality. Book your a zoom initial meeting today and start your journey towards a happier and better-behaved pup. Meet n Greets are typically early evening or during the workday on weekdays. We do have evening and weekend private training spots reserved for clients engaged in the private training process. So don't worry, we can customize your training session to best fit into your schedule!


Cancellation Policy

The Client wishing to schedule private lessons agrees to the following conditions: To complete our online process for registration and payment. To follow the Canine Educator’s instructions without modification regarding all behavior and treatment of the Dog.> To pay $249.00 per three session packages with the Canine Educator. To give at least 24 hours’ notice in case of cancellation (if this condition is not followed, the Client agrees to pay the full amount for their session, regardless of attendance). To treat their dog within the expected guidelines for safe, humane, and fear-free training. This applies to dogs involved in the training sessions and classes that may be participating in the educational offering. To use the prescribed tools for management such as leashes, harnesses, collars, and muzzles. Agrees to refrain from using choke chains, prong collars and/or electronic devices that use shock as a training aid while in our programs our using our training protocols. Payment will be made prior to the first session of instruction via our portal at www.gogreatdog.com> Client attests that their dog is current on required vaccinations and has provided written proof on our portal. Client agrees to allow Great Dog to use any likeness of them and/or their dog in digital, print or video formats gathered in our instructional time. The client agrees to share all appropriate behavioral information with Great Dog and Canine Educators including any bites to humans or other animals, citations from animal control and or medical information needed to maintain safety for all participants in the canine education setting. The Canine Educator will provide: Professional instruction/training, as certified by Great Dog, Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers, American Kennel Club and/or other appropriate organizations at Great Dog. Follow the “Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive” methods. (LIMA) describes a canine educator or behavior consultant who uses the least intrusive, minimally aversive strategy out of a set of humane and effective tactics likely to succeed in achieving a training or behavior change objective while making the learning experience positive and enjoyable. Scheduled sessions with the Dog and the Client on a pre-determined scheduled basis. Guidelines, strategies, methods, techniques to help the Client to interact with the Dog to produce the best humane and safe results in behavior. Provide links & handouts
