Service Description

Designed for dogs who have completed our Building Resiliency Class or Private Lessons ONLY. Participants must know the techniques taught previously in classes or lessons so they can practice their skills with their dog. Each week we will offer different opportunities to work on developing more resilient dogs. Practice topics are: Interaction with unknown individuals, including diverse populations and people wearing hats and sunglasses, helmets for bikes and motorcycles. Exposure to unknown objects that are stress inducing including vacuums, brooms, moving toys or unusual items such as remote-controlled toys, drones, umbrellas and more. Exposure to sounds that create stress-babies crying fireworks, thunder, smoke alarms, timers, etc. This is accomplished with pre-recorded audio tracks. Exposure to moving things including strollers, bikes, scooters, skateboards, wind or air driven items. Each lab session will have space for 4 dogs only so we can dedicate time to each dog in the session. You can sign up for all four weeks of practice lab or pick the ones that are best suited to your dog’s specific needs. Because the sessions fill up quickly register soon to save space for you and your dog! If you need to cancel a session, we ask for 24 hours advance notice. Notification after 24 hours will not be refunded.
