The CGC title is a prerequisite for many therapy dog certification programs, including College Dogs and Pet Partners, as well as a great introduction to more advanced dog sports. Many rental property owners accept the CGC as a good indication of a dog who is well-behaved. Insurance companies may offer discounts to dog owners who demonstrate their commitment to responsible pet ownership through CGC certification.  This is a fantastic opportunity to have fun while achieving a new milestone with your dog and start your journey as a Therapy Dog team!
