the waiting list get to join us when space allows.

with a written statement by a licensed veterinarian, may extend

Drop Off and Pick Up: All puppies and dogs dropped off at
Great Dog must be on a leash attached to a securely fitting

for Daycare & Adventure Park Services Monday through Friday (and
limited Saturday times for daycare). Dogs may be dropped off as
early as 7am (10am on Sat's). All pets must be picked up by 7pm
(5pm on Sats). A $10 fee will be accrued for every 15 minutes or
fraction thereof after 7pm (5pm).
"Clothing" All dogs must wear
a flat collar or harness to daycare and the Adventure Park. Dogs
are not to wear any chain or pinch collars on the daycare floor
or at our Adventure Park. Because there is water and pools at
both venues, no personal electronic components should be on the
dog at drop off. We also ask that all small dogs wear
harnesses to our daycare program. All dogs must also be
wearing their city or county licenses or have written proof on
file with Great Dog.
Supplies needed: All dogs
must wear a standard flat buckle/clip collar or a harness on
the daycare floor. For safety reasons, we cannot use any
collars with chain components. All dogs must enter and
exit our facility on a standard flat leash, either 2, 4, 6 feet
long. Great Dog will not handle any dogs on retractable
leashes. Retractable leashes are fine for exercising your
pooch but can be dangerous when handling an excited, happy dog.
Some dogs need lunches. All lunches must come in a plastic
bag or container with their name plainly marked. Please do
not bring your dog's toys, bowls or bedding. We have
plenty of those items. On your dog's evaluation day,
please bring completed applications as well as copies of your
dog's vaccination records.
Respite Care: Great Dog
offers a quiet space for our dogs that need a watchful eye while
they heal from post-operative surgeries. Dogs that join us
for respite care must be compatible with other dogs, illnesses
are non-communicable. Additional waivers may apply for
severely injured or sick dogs and updated medical information
may be needed. Dogs must come with their medication with
written instruction, a regular leash and must not be a chronic
barker.
