graduates of Reactive to Reliable Classes
Reactive to
Reliable Graduates:
It’s the
opportunity to put all of your work and effective conditioning
to practice. The first week of class is a people only session to
make sure that everyone is ready to work in a public setting.
There will be multiple dogs with tendencies toward reactive
behaviors so review of the strategies learned in your class is
essential. We will set goals, identify the meeting places for
each session as each weekly escapade is in a different
dog-friendly location. The course meets in the cool of the
evening to take advance of the fabulous NW climate and
long-lived sunlight while avoiding the crowds of people and dogs
during the prime hours of the day. We will visit local parks,
dog-parks, a dog friendly commercial area and our very own BARK!
Espresso with other dogs present. Each dog and their human
companion(s) will have plenty of opportunities to utilize the
techniques learned in the Reactive to Reliable class. You all
remember that right? Drop a “here” offer a YES!” see your dog
make good choices about responding to the presence of another
dog.
This class is a
limited in size to ensure the best possible experience for
