PUPPY EXPRESS!
Are you a new puppy
owner who can’t wait to get started on training? We have an
immediate solution for those of you who are ready for
training NOW! You can jump aboard the ongoing Puppy Express
train!
It’s a revolving
class, broken into three sessions (A, B, and C), with no
specific beginning or end. We will cover the important
concepts of bite inhibition, socialization, and positive
associations; we will discuss the theories behind our
training philosophies, such as rewards, relationship, and
behavior; and we will work on beginning training techniques,
like “Down” and “Come,” as well as “Sit-to-Greet” and
“Loose-Leash Walking.”
You will receive a
summary handout at the end of each class with a letter
corresponding to that session (A, B or C), and when you have
collected all three, you and your pup will receive a
graduation certificate, along with a $10 coupon for one of
our other classes!
We meet on Saturdays
from 1:30-2:30pm, in our main training space, and all Puppy
Express students are welcome to stay, free of charge, for
our Puppy
E3 play group – where
we explore, educate, and exercise – which takes place in the
same space from 2:30-3:30pm.
The Puppy Express and
Puppy E3 sessions are designed for pups between the ages of
approximately 6-8weeks and approximately 4-6months, so if
that covers your pawed pal, come on over and grow with us!
The price is $90 for 3 sessions.

You must be pre-registered to join our classes.
Drop-in sign-ups are not permitted unless pre-arranged with our
Canine Education desk. Please arrive 10 minutes early to
pay for your session and to sign in. You may choose to
purchase pre-paid packages of 5 and 10 Learning labs. This
is the best deal!

Cancellations and Refunds: If for some reason you
cannot make your signed up Puppy Express session, please let us
know as soon as possible. Great Dog will be able to cancel
your spot and apply your credit to another Puppy Express
session. If you have not paid for your session, a pending
bill will be mailed out to you early in the month. Due to
the nature of the ongoing Puppy Express program, all purchases
are non-refundable.
General Behavior and Rules
Puppy Express attendees must adhere to the rules
or will be asked to leave without refund. It is important
that you understand that our staff are canine professionals and
have a good grasp on dog communication skills and behaviors.
They may point out a behavior and ask you to manage it.
Failure to respectfully comply with our staff's requests will
result in asking you to leave Puppy Express. In addition,
there is no smoking on Great Dog's campus, a no aggression
policy, and owners must pick up after their dog(s). To be
neighborly, dogs that are noisy will be asked to leave.
Owners must also remain on the play floor during the Puppy
Express social interaction and monitor their dog's behavior. No
human food is allowed in the play spaces. Dog treats are
okay. Please supervise children around dogs. No
aggressive dogs, please! Aggressive dogs will be asked to
leave and any dog that is injured due to your dog will be your
financial responsibility. We have several classes that
cater to dogs with aggression and reactive issues. Please
talk to the instructor for more information. Please manage
your dog's excessive barking. We want to respect our
neighbors and hope that you understand that noise is always a
concern. Please be on time as important information is given out
during the first part of the lesson. Late comers will not
be admitted.
